ROI & NI Deliveries

For our customers in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, we use DPD as our preferred courier, offering delivery in 2-3 working days*. For some larger items, we may use an alternative carrier. Upon dispatch of your order, we will confirm the carrier details.

Delivery charges of €5.95 apply. Spend over €39 to avail of FREE DELIVERY.

UK Deliveries (Mainland UK)

For our customers in England, Scotland and Wales, we use An Post, offering delivery in 3-5 Day working days*. For some larger items, we may use an alternative carrier. Upon dispatch of your order, we will confirm the carrier details.

Delivery charges of €11.95 apply. Spend over €99 to avail of FREE DELIVERY to the UK.

*During the ongoing COVID19 Crisis, deliveries may take a little longer than normal.

Online Purchases

If you change your mind after your purchase, but before your order has been processed, please call us at +353 (0) 56 7797990.

We offer no-quibble product returns within 14 days of purchase for all items bought via our website. If you find the item you purchased is not quite right; you can either return your purchases to your local store, or return them to us at:

All online returns are subject to the following criteria:

  • All returns must be un-opened, un-used, undamaged and in their original packaging; with all tags attached in order to obtain your refund.
  • All items must be returned within 14 days of purchase, either to your local Petmania store or to the address above.
  • All items can be returned to your local Petmania store for FREE. However, if you wish to return an item to us by mail or courier, you will be responsible for the cost of postage/courier service.
  • When returning items by mail/courier, please ensure that they are correctly packaged, as we can only offer a refund on undamaged items.
  • Returns must be accompanied by our returns documentation, this must be supplied with your order.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7 days of receipt, to the same method of payment used at our checkout.
  • All refunds will be given for the cost of goods only. Any delivery charged incurred against the purchase will not be refunded.

If the item you have purchased is faulty, please contact our Customer Service Department. You can call us at +353 (0) ; or email us at to arrange a repair, replacement or refund, in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty.

In-Store Purchases

Should you change your mind, we accept returns within 28 days of purchase [7 days for sale items] to the store in which they were purchased. Goods must be un-opened, un-used, undamaged and in their original packaging with all tags attached; and be accompanied by your purchase receipt.

It is our policy to issue a credit note for all returns of in-store purchases; however with the exception of goods which have been found to be faulty or defective.

We are unable to accept returns for items that have been sold at a reduced price due to damage; missing parts or which have an expired or upcoming sell or use by date.

Returning Faulty Goods

Where goods that are found to be faulty or defective, they should be returned, along with all parts, for inspection. In this instance, a repair, replacement or refund will be offered in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty. Where items have been damaged by misuse or normal wear and tear, we are unable to process a return.

Live Stock

We offer well-being guarantees for all livestock purchased in our store. This extends to 24 hours for Fish; and 7 days for Small Animals and Reptiles, after which time no refund or replacement is possible.
All livestock is sold in good faith that you will provide the appropriate care that is needed to ensure the on-going well-being of your new pet. The livestock with the exception of fish, will be subject to a Pet Owners Promise, to be agreed by the new pet owner.
If your new pet appears unwell within the guarantee period; please contact the store where you purchased it directly, within that period. Veterinary costs, if incurred, will not be refunded where they have not been approved in advance by Petmania.

Charitable Donations

Every donation made via or in-store to our charity partners, through the purchase of merchandise; or a cash donation, are deemed to be a charitable donation and are non-refundable. All donations are passed in full to our charity partners and Petmania do not profit from them.

Petmania Gift-cards

Petmania Gift-cards are issued without a use-by date and can be used to purchase any product or service at any Petmania store. Gift-cards cannot currently be used for the purchase of goods or services on our website.
Without exception, all returns must be accompanied by proof-of-purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights.
